Resumen (Presentación general del programa): Our objective with “Nutritious Food and Healthy Habitats for All Forms of Life” is to educate, inspire, and encourage practices that nourish individuals, their families, communities, and the broader ecosystem, resulting in an integral way of creating green citizenship for a brighter future.The program we offer consists of field trips twice a week to our farm with its outdoor classrooms surrounded by the food system and the local habitat. Here, through hands-on activities, kids learn about the native flora of the cloud forest, how to contribute to forest restoration, build compost, create veggie beds, eat healthy and take care of others. Monthly participation in the agroecological festival that we host, where diverse activities are offered, strengthens the community, reaching 1000 students and their families each year. This results in a wiser, more connected, and knowledgeable society, providing tools to stop global warming, guaranteeing healthy habitats and food for all.
